Yes, I know I know, its auto. Its a project car 4 my wife n I. Help us build something aggressive but not record breaking numbers either.(Affordable as well) We've done I/H. Note I am not a mechanic but m learning thru this experience. .

Ive been thru every prelude thread and faqs. I am blind so if I did miss something point it out nicely.

 

Since I used to own an automatic 88Si Prelude, I can tell you from experience that you are very limited in performance.

Here is your basic setup:

1. Intake
2. Header
3. Cat-back - 2.5" for better breathing

Thats it.

Nothing else you can do under $1500. If you want more power than what those bolts on will net you, you will have to turbo charge and on an automatic, it gets very expensive.

 

Three words: SWAP. THAT. MONKEY!. and more power. I know what it's like to have an auto, and I know that's a lot easier said than done, but I'm speaking to you as well as for me when I say, It'll be a whole different car once it's done. The previous ideas are great first ones!
