Default H22A engine idle problem.

It was not one day problem, the choke at idle when accelerate, become slowly.

Engine seems like working at idle fine, revs are stable. But in some moments from exhaust can be hear like a little misfire. Actually if don't listen carefully that misfire can't be hear "puf-puf-puf". That's not happened all the time, it is and then it's not....

The worst thing is at the moment when engine idling and pushing on accelerator, sounds like that:

R-Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

That "R-R" means 2 chokes then it revs up normally as it should be.

So, what we did and there was some problems. We change commutator in distributor, work non stable. The distributor cap and rotor was in bad condition. All those problems we saw on BOSCH diagnostics oscillograms. So, we change them and new spark plugs install.

Sadly problem still stays. Engine is not new. Decide to take of the cylinder head, give it to machine shop. They did valve, head job. Install back fresh head. Actually we would do that anyway.

Problem with choke still stay.

Engine revs good, run hard, good power. Then in some moments engine don't work fine, seems like power loss. Then again everything OK. But choke at idle still stays.

Engine swaped some time back in Accord Aerodeck wagon.

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM!

Kinda sounds like it could just be the O2 sensor. Have you checked that yet?

Jep, install another used sensor. Without changes, maybe I should try with new O2.

Actually no cells, that's bad too. Problem exist and don't know were to search.

You have an oscilloscope, do you have an engine analyzer at the shop? Maybe that would help. Could be a loose electrical connection at a pin or something. Have you checked fuel pressure? Vaccum lines routed correctly? Since you said it was a swap

What is engine analyzer, I will ask for it.

Vaccum connections are OK. We check them lot of times. Will going to change the fuel filter, and then messure the fuel pressure.

Thank's for ideas. More to come, hope.
