Default h22 question

i got a 93 h22a4 what do i need to install it into my 92 honda prelude? what kind of wiring hardness do i need or can i use the stock one?

check the prelude faq, and yes you would use the stock one with additional wiring to make vtec work

btw how do you have a 93 h22a4? do you have a 93 prelude and bought a h22a4 or did someone sell you a h22a4 and said it was from a 93 model?

if it is a h22a4 you would need the obd2 - 0bd1 harness

yeah i bought it out of the jnunk yard and it said 93 honda prelude engine so im guessing the h22a4 is a obd2? and what year would that engine come out in?

well a 93 is off a 4th generation prelude which would still run obd1 unless it was a 96

and if it was in a 93 then it would say h22a1 and not h22a4
