Default H-23 Head work

I have a spare head, for my 93 prelude Si and plan to re build it. Still in the planing stage and request some help/ info from everyone who has done it..i.e for the best boosted proformance when i'm done.........?

Headwork isnt going to get you wonderful gains if you plan on being boosted. They'll actually be downright negligable. If you are still dead-set on it, Gude works on H23 heads for race applications. I hear their customer service is very bad though.

Gude sucks *******.

Go with either Endyn who I <U>highly</U> recommend. Coming in at a close second is portflow followed by RLZ.

why would a ported head not be good for a h23 turbo? the stock head kinda sucks in the flow department, so improved flow should give a nice improvement.

you can port and polish that head it will still never outflow a vtec head

i feel theres no point of doing it in to your trying to make 600whp with a nonvtec

i still run a stock head, you can still make over 500whp with a allstock head , all you need is good cams to make good power

this is just how a feel with my own trail error
