Default Greddy Question

I went to the local car store to see if Greddy made and Evo exhuast for 4th gen prelude. It comes out that they do. The only problem is that it's for the VTEC 4th gen's. Will the Evo work good w/o the VTEC engine? I have a 4th gen prelude w/o the VTEC.

I know Greddy lists it on their site, but I have yet to actually see one on a car. They make it for the 5gen I know for sure though.

You will have to modify the flange coming off the back side of the cat to make it fit.

So it wouldn't be a bad idea to get one?

What's the size of the piping? THe H23 is a 2.3L it still pushes a good volume of gas, a less restrictive exhaust is a good idea.

You might need an adapter. Not so much an adapter, but more like a spacer that will fill the gap. I think the h23 exhaust is longer, because when i bought a GReddy exhaust like 8 yrs ago for my h23 prelude they told me i needed one. THe one i got was for the h22 and when i installed it i needed the spacer.

ok, i just installed the greddy sp on my vehicle. I ended up buying a new cat because the greddy connection was about 1/4 in larger then the cat fittings. maybe they just sent me the wrong one but thats what happened to me
