Front Right Knocking when turning. spring??
When I turn left at low speeds 15 and down I hear a knocking on the front right by the tire. I know CV joints sound like this when they go out. But There boot is fine no tearing at all. Axels are brand new.. I was wondering if it could be the spring knocking back and fourth?? The suspension is wigglable when the car is raised. Could that be teh knocking sound when I turn?
what would be loose?. there is a brake line that is not in the right bolt spots its ziptied
and kind of touches the axel. u think the metal bracket is hitting the axel when I turn??

check the upper control arm bushings. They're at the top of the knuckle inside the wheel well, on a horizontal rod. If the bushings are old, the metal rod may have slipped. Get a friend to drive forward and backwards braking suddenly, and look under the wheelwell with a flashlight or something. Just don't stick your head under the tire.
Another possibility is the ball joint where the knuckle meets the control arm.

Mine makes a noise similar to what you described when taking off and when stoping fast at low speeds, but only when is cold. A mechanic friend of mine told me it could be the engine mounts.
I've had cv axles that were bad, new from the store. I broke 5 in one month from Advance Auto Parts. All of them made the clicking noise, but all were ultimately broken from a simple hard launch which sheared the shaft in half. I told the store I wanted a refund and just bought a used cv axle from http://www.car-part.com for $35 and it worked like a champ.
