99 Prelude SH
fogged headlights with a yellowish tint
i know i wont be able to clean them completly but whats some ways
i can improve on them? aside from new lights

a buddy said 1000 grit sand paper and water?

 

yep a wet sand would be good....just be sure to use 1000grit or higher paper....

you may need to take off the lenses and clean, there are writeups on doing that also if you hit the search button...

 

Easiest and best thing I have used is Brasso brass polish on a rag and go around in small circles with plenty of elbow grease, then buff off after allowing to dry. It is only mildly abrasive and dosn't leave scratches, the lenses buff up well using this.

 

You can get some Meguires plastic polish, or wet sand it. I would used 1500 grit then if its still not coming off, go down to 1000 grit. Besure to polish your lenses after you're done

 

The best stuff in the world is GS27 or "Plum Crazy" with a drill buffer. I just did that to my sister's dodge last night and they came out just like new.

ditto. We use that stuff for motorcycle windshields at my shop all the time.
