Can someone give me the firing order for the spark plug cables. I checked the FAQ page but the page doesn't exist anymore. Also, can I get a picture of the spark plug cable order because I think I have them mixed up.

 

cylinder 1 is closest to the timing belt side. if you are looking at the distributor from the passenger side the cables will be connected like so

oh hey thanks a lot for the order of the distributor cables, its just as good as a pic. Gotta question though.

If any of these cables are somehow in the wrong order, what can result from this mixup?

 

if one is out of order that means two are out of order in which case your ignition is firing at the wrong time. usually results in 0 power and horrible back firing and misfiring.

 

oh ok yeah that's been happening to my Prelude and we determined the cause to be a wrong positioning of a cable. thanks alot for the info.
