Default Faulty speedometer

My speedometer is way off and am curious to know how much it would cost to get fixed. When Im going about 40, my speedometer claims 60-65 but im still with the flow of traffic. There is no way im staying with traffic, going 60 i'd be flying by everyone. Little help please!!!

you sure you didnt tinker with it??? lol
anyway, you might have to get it recalibrated, if that doesnt work youre going to need a new speedo/fuel level assembley
theyre not cheap at all either
if you have to buy a new one, you'll have 0 mileage on the car and depending whether your deal wants to or not they might or might not put the mileage on the new speedo assembley
if they dont you'll have a car with unknown mileage and the value will be worth crap
this is of course for a 5th gen
i have no clue of the orientation of a 4th gen gauge cluster
