Default f22b block

i'm thinking of buying a f22b dohc..to replace my broken h23...there are some concerns running thru my head....are the parts from the h23 a direct bolt-on to the f22b...such as sensors....headers...alternator...and mostly importantly...what about the ECU....can't use the h23 ECU right???? Is there another ECU specially made for teh f22b dohc...???please tell me if any parts are different...and what needs to be done....everything i need to get the swap done....thanks to all who help.....

does the h23..have the knock sensor..or do i have to get that seperately??? so do i just get a bolt n weld it to the alternator bracket n screw it there/? or specific place it has to be at???a pic if anyone has it...i'm kinda new to the auto business....

you can reuse the h23 knock sensor

unless you want to buy a new one for around 150 new lol

and about the bolt welded onto the alt bracket

i dont know i never heard about that but i think thats what im gonna have to do.

it would be easier to thread the hole in the f22b block before you put it in

rather than weld the nut to the alt bracket.

things just keeps coming up as i think about it....what if the parts on the f22b now breaks....i go to auto store....do i just tell them its h23..??? eg...header is bad...or head-gasket needs replace...do i just tell them h23 engine...??? becausei dont think f22b dohc will pop up in the computer.....n then for everything else.....alternator..distributor...spark plugs..coil....all those same has h23??? wat about the timing belt...??? more teeth isn't there??? or is it the same timing belt...???......

from what i have read use a gsr timing belt

mine rubbed

but i just found out i havnt tried it but on a accord forum they use f22b dohc more frequently

anyways

i read that by replacing the f22b water pump with the h23 water pump you can use the h23 timing belt for exact fit

so replace f22b water pump
use h23 water pump and timing belt

i used h23 spark plugs i used the h23 distributor
