Default evap control selenoid

I have erick's racing throttle body but there is no place to hook up the hose that goes from the old throttle body to evap contorl selenoid on the erick's throttle body. on the stock throttle body there ar three tiny holes that lead up to the fitting, which has a large diameter on the top and a pin hole in the inside part of it. the red hose is the line i need to find a place to connect. will i be ok just to hook it to an extra vacuum fitting on the intake manifold or should i put it before the throttle body?

Evap control solenoid, doesn't that have to do with the big black charcoal can that catches gas fumes from the tank? If i'm thinking about the right thing, why don't you just get rid of it all? You don't need that stuff anyways

He can't get rid of it because OBDII will scream bloody murder if it's not there.

I modified an s2000 throttle body with an evap purge connection. It had the benefit of an unused point where the idle control screw usually goes, though.

The point of having it on the throttle body is that this is the area of lowest pressure before the individual runners. Gas vapors are more easily drawn out and they are better distributed to all cylinders.

It's not exceedingly important though, and I've heard of people just taping into their brake booster on the back of the manifold.

Forgot about OBD2 Go ahead and get rid of OBD2 while you're at it....LOL just kidding.....

Dirtylude - Did you modify that S2K TB for use on your prelude? If so: Does it bolt up correctly? What is the TB diameter?

Or you could just buy my JDM GS-R ecu and get the hondata so it can be tuned better than just the MF2 is doing... this way you can tune for when you're not in boost yet, etc. Plus with the new autotune thingy (which I haven't read about yet, just heard about) it might work out well. Oh, and you could sell the slicks to leo and cover the costs!

If you can find some way to put the purge on the throttle body it would be best, but I wouldn't ruin the throttle body trying. If it looks fairly easy, go for it.

I modified the s2000 throttle body for someone else. It directly bolts up. It's missing idle bleed screw, Evap Purge, and the Fast Idle Valve. There's still a port where the idle bleed screw is supposed to be, so I drilled it out and put in the barb that's shown. I don't know what the stock diameter is, that one was bored out to 70mm and the intake manifold was ported to match.

I finally cut those injector bungs off my F-Max pipe last weekend and welded them shut. There's a ton of steel in those things. Took me a while with a 3" cutting disc.
