I was wondering if it's possible to swap a 2.3 into an SI-V. I just bought the SI-V with a blown motor and i already have a good 2.3 engine. Any feedback i can get would be great! Thanks.

 

You have a SI-VTEC Prelude and you want to put an H23 in it right?

It can definately be done. What year is the car and what year is the H23 you want to put in it?

 

Both 95s..... I own both cars but the one with the H23 is totaled but the engine is fine and the SI v-tec just has a blown motor.

 

Also, does anyone know if i can keep the computer that's in the vtec or do i have to swap it? And is there a way to put the vtec system on the 2.3?

 

Very easy swap and you will have to get a P14 ECU (h23) instead of a P13 ECU (H22).

To make a H23 vtec, you have to put the head of the h22 on the h23 block. Not for the inexperienced. Just search for the H23 vtec how to.
