I havent looked much at it but i was wondering does anyoen know if it would be possible to place one of those new mazda 6 ( think its this new one) all-wheel drive 2.3L engines in a prelude? I was curiouse cuz i was reading about it in a magazine then it hit me i have a 2.3 in my car as well, and thats when i got to thinking. I know the AWD bullshit might make it not work but it still made me think. I didnt look at the other specs just when i read that and like 230 hp or something along those lines and 2.3 i instantly thought of my prelude (even though i dont have 230 or more hp). Just a thought so id rather not see ur a complete dumbass posts.

 

cool idea but would cost alot and not worth it in my opinion. It would be realy hard to ,make it awd. Put a h22 type s swap in and you will have 220hp.

 

just because they are both 2.3 on the inside does not make them anything like each other. theres no way it's just gonna swap in. you'd have cut up your lude and fab up mounts and do all kinds of crazy(and expensive stuff) to make that work. just get an h22.

 

Good idea. If I would go to the trouble of converting to AWD, then the only engine that would go in my lude would be a RB26DETT from a skyline Anyway, the whole allignment of the engine would probaly be way off considering its a whole different company and chassis the engine was made for. We can still keep dreaming though ^_^

 

ahahahahah i guess i wasnt clear guys.... i was just wondering if it was at all possible to do it thats all. I never ment that i was going to do it just curious if it was at all possible.
