my h23 engine is surging in neutral,by this i mean that the rpms are jumping up to about 2 grand and then droping back to about 700 rapidly all by its self. I have cheaked the coolent, sprayed the vacuum hoses to look for leaks,and still can't come to a conclusion. Any answers to my problem would be great ,thanks.

if you search the archive in the prelude forum you will notice alot of threads on this issue and there is some good info, the above 3 are a few that i found.

I'd say that you just missed a vaccuum hose if you aren't throwing a CEL. Did you check the intake manifold gasket well?
