My engine is making alot more noise than it used to. I dont know how to describe the sound but its sounds like it squeals and ticks. I didnt notice this until after my clutch/flywheel install. Is there a relation??? Friend mentioned i might need a valve adjustment?
I'm a noob when it comes to engine internals, any advice is appreciated.

Ticking lightly or like a train on the tracks? If it's a long loud squeal, then check the belt. It could be slipping.... However, the squeal could be the classic clutch "chirp" (sounds like a bird) since you did mention a clutch install.

The car has been regularly serviced for the last 9 years, but i wouldnt know if the dealer did a valve adjustment. And yes i did the install myself with a few friends.

possibility but im not sure how to describe the sound the engine makes. its not a "squeal" like the sound a slipping belt makes. i will get it checked out tho.

"ticking lightly". i never knew clutches made sounds when idling. ill have a basic engine check-up done asap to see if it solves anything.
Btw i'm considering taking it to the dealer since my parents would be willing to pay for it. They dont mind working on modded cars? Engine is stock, just bolt-on turbo kit.

Well it's not easy to describe or judge sounds over the interweb, but now that you mention idleing, it does sound more like a belt issue.
So yeah, get it checked out at least for the loud sqeal being enough concern. The ticking, as far as I know, all hondas tick if you listen for it. Although, the ticking is distinct and it getting louder or erratic is not good.
