engine doggish
Is it worth it to replace my rings on my 90 2.0si 4ws prelude or woulld it be better to find a new engine? If finding a new engine is the answer which engine can and will work in my car? I have talked to a buddy of mine who has a 4th gen and he told me that the only motor that will fit into the car is the stock one. Is it possible to have work done to put a B16 in?
While REALLY bad rings can cause the motor to feel very doggish, it more than likely is also shot bearings.
If you were going to crack open the motor, I would do more of a rebuild than just swappin rings.

i would make custom mounts, anyhow i had 135k on my lude and the bearings were actually pretty good, and I raced it all the time, however the rings were shot, i dont know how the car was treated before i got my hands on it at 100k, if i had to guess probably dogged, oh well its all freshly built up now anyway

It'll cost about $6k to get that motor in your engine bay.
