Default Engine Bogging - GETTING TO THE SOURCE OF MY PROBLEM?

I always noticed that when I get a crappy start in my car, if it kinda bogs into a gear or something, that it'll studder violently back and forth between 2.5-3.5k rpm until I turn off the car, turn on, reverse, and go.

So this morning it occured to me, as my car as running high idle and cold as hell, that I NEVER have the problem in the morning. So i pull out, put into first gear, and the test comes into play always pulling right outta my driveway, it's slightly uphil so i always keep it in first, and it usually bucks and studders through the rpms - but not today.. not anytime that its cold and just been turned on.

I think my problem is that I don't rev high enough. So i sat pressing my gas pedal and noticed that up until 2.5k rpms its crappy feeling, revs differently even in neutral than after 2.5k - so I think launching from under this causes my car to bog and this as I said, lasts until the cars shut off and driven in reverse, then I go again.

It beats the **** out of me, but is this something to do with a fuel - injetors, filter, something? I can't keep riding out the clutch from higher rpms to have the car run like it should anyway ;\ that is, like all of my friends preludes run

I'm having a SERIOUS bogging issue with my 240SX. No one can figure it out either. I know how you feel.

Are you sure there are not any leaks in the hoses?? Have you done the basics of changing plugs, wires, etc.?? What about the fuel filter?? Check your ground wire too. Make sure it is making solid contact on a clean connection point.

thanks for the ideas.. gonna give the shop a list of **** to check

and about the motor - i guess for whatever reason you didn't take into account the fact that ive replaced the transmission, clutch, and flywheel and still have the problem - making me personally assume engine.

unless you want to buy a possibly **** motor.

investigating options though, have a lawsuit against usedengines.com for sending me the wrong transmission lol.. this is just one of many problems.
