When i am driving between 2-3000rpm my car is bogging. I think it may be because of a bad 02 sensor. I was also told by the previous owner that the flex pipe may be damaged. It passed its out of province inspection. I would think that the place would have pointed that out if it was true. Either way i have a new header and flex for it.

My check engine light is also coming up every once in a while. Typically when i am reving the crap out of it. This is why i think it may be the o2 sensor.

What do you guys think?

 

what engine? have you checked the code when the cel is on? my car was bogging because of a bad egr and from total blockage of the egr ports. see if you can get the code, that would help narrow the problem down.

 

i am going to do that tomorrow. I have a day off so i will do that forsure. I think it may be that. I looked under the hood for the first time (a really good look) just bought it, and the dirt is so thick in there. It is like a tary thick dirt.

 

check all your grounds and your injectors also

 

The bogging at that rpm range sounds like its EGR related. Unplug your EGR and see if that works. If it does work, than its your EGR.
