anyone know how to ground out the egr so the egr cel doesnt come on (i dont have egr hooked up... its completly out with the block off plate and all)?

why not just leave it connected and run the blockoff plate as well. it won't give you a cel on obd1 that way.

 

I'm assuming you can put a paper clip in the plug - but that would be stupid..............

 

is there a way to make it so the egr doesn't show any CELs? i have never heard of a trick like that, and if there is such a trick does it matter what obd?

 

cause im goin for that clean look, id rather not have the egr valve in there

again, is there a way to keep the ecu from seeing an egr CEL? some sort of wire splicing or something?
