Default Dynoed today...

I got my 5th gen dynoed today. I had the car dynoed once before but i had gotten a tune up since then and it felt stronger so i figured i would try again...the results are interesting.

I gained 10wph from last time and 5wtq! Its a bone stock auto so take that into consideration when checkin out the graph. I bought intake and that should come in soon, any ideas for other future mods are welcome

Um wow that sucks. Get a different header something is absolutely killing your top end. You can get a decent quality Megan Stainless steel header for about $100 shipped.

Do you have a graph of your Air fuel curve like your old one? VVVV

your last dyno was pretty rich and that cost you a bunch of power.

Pirate

*EDIT* is that a different dyno shop? That kind of ruins the point of before and after dyno runs doesn't it?

Your right it is a different dyno shop. Im going to be doing all my mods with this new shop so i needed to have a baseline on their dyno to get accurate results. I was told that i was running pretty rich by someone else too so i think im going to get the Vafc2 to lean things out a bit. You said it was robbing me of power, how much?
But no they didnt gimme a fule curve which is the only thing i regret...

No, it is an auto, and only SH preludes have atts, which are 5spds.

your dyno sheet looks like a mustangs, lol.

You're looking at the torque line.

Something is a little wierd about this graph.

The hp and torque do not crossover at 5252 rpm
like your previous one here

That's because the scales are different.

Hp scale is on the left Y axis and the Tq is on the right Y axis...and you should be able to tell which line is which

First Dyno posted = STD Horsepower
Second Dyno = SAE Horsepower

if you mod your auto i believe you may reach 160ish? which is what STOCK 5spd puts down... something to think about

I know that the auto is whats killin me. Im doing research on the manual swap right now, if i get the swap done ill be able to look at the difference of the two graphs once i get the 5speed.

i only have 60k on this eninge, so i know its reliable and the car has no problems.
I would preffer to stay with this car and just swap the trannys if its not going to be over 2 grand

Because i like my wheels. And plus the tires on them are worth more than the wheels themselves

if you aren't going to switch your car for a manual I would recommend you stop dynoing your car...you will never like the results.
