Default Dual Runner

with the second runner plate there is a a little black vaccum tank. there is a vacuum line that connects to it and it goes to the intake manifold. Between the vacuum line there is a one way valve. Which way is the air flow? Does the one way valve release the air into the intake manifold to open up the second runner, or does the one way valve let the air into the vacuum tank?

Some answer please....

The plates are held closed by creating a vacuum inside the runners if that helps....when engaged the vacuum lets loose and the butterflies open.

So if you disconnect the vaccuum they stay open.

if you were to unplug the vacuum line from the valve, then i believe it sucks in the air, i'm not sure, i did it on my car, either that or the fpr does it, or maybe both, my advice would be to try it out

What are you talking about? FPR gets the manifold vacuum, and the valve for the butterfly plate is sucked when the black box allows the vacuum to go though the line.

Errrr, both of them take vacuum from the intake manifold. None of them suck in on their own.

edit: Not going to post on this topic anymore since it's pointless...

i was referring to the vacuum hose, that was still connected to the manifold sucks in air, not the fpr or butterfly
