Has anyone tried doing a dry sump setup on a 5th gen H22? While I was watching a Porche program I was curious on this and with the possiblity of increasing power and extending engine life.

 

Its been done, but external pumps are very pricey, and you'd most likely have to fab up mounts for it and stuff like that.

 

I sold my USED barnes external oil pump with z10 block off plate for a little over $1,000 if that helps put a price in mind . . .

Sorry i dont. Actually never used it. Just bought it used and never ran it.
