Driver side window not tracking properly
I have a 2001 base and my driver side power window does not track properly when closing. It goes off on an angle and doesnt seal properly. I have to use both hands and guide it in a direction while someone holds the power button to close it.
Does it mean the track is loose ? or something needs to be replaced?
thanks in advance guys.

Have you checked the anchor bolt points for both the guide tracks. I never looked at a 97+ door but I would check to see if the molding on the tracks are cracked/broken or if the bolts holding down the tracks are missing.
Take the inside of the door off one screw is inside the handle and there are 3 where the speakers are and one more screw I think somewhere visible im not sure where and pop everything out and push up. Then roll the window down about half way where you can see the 2 bolts loosen them up. Find both the tracks use a flashlight and then put the window back on the track and tighten the bolts up. It sounds like its coming off track which is very possible if one of the bolts are loose so make sure you tighten them up good once you get it on track. I have a 01 prelude and it came off track and It was cause of the bolt loosened and slid off track it shouldnt be to hard you dont have to take the window motor out or nothing.
