i dont see why not i have a type r shift boot on my 4th gen i got a 4th gen boot for sale if you need one

I have a 5th Gen boot on my 4th gen. It required some modifications to work. I know I had to cut some of the bottom edge of the boot to fit properly.

The plastic mounting rings are different.
