Default Crower Cams

anyone know which stage of the crower cam, for a 97SH is best, dont want my cars idle to be jacked up...so Will stage 3, the +22 hp do this?

yes, the stage 3 is the drag profile, idle will undoubtly be erratic. although the lift isnt much bigger than a type-s cam (intake, anyway).

Crower Stage 3 can idle fine with the proper fuel tuning.

Why would you get Stage 3 unless your doing a drag profile...

Don't go overboard. Unless your doing crazy mods dont' bother.

He's right, just tune it and it should idle decently. Even if it didn't, for $50 more Crower will make you a cam with Stock idle lobes and Stage 4 VTEC lobes.

Anyone know a place to get Crower stage 2 for a 94 Vtec for a decent price? They are $680 at the Crower site! The valve train kit is another 425!!!

Talk to vntperformance about the Crower Stage 3s. He used to run them in his Prelude. IIRC, he later switched them to the Stage 2s - I'm not sure why, but he probably had a good reason.

C5_ALLMOTOR: I haven't heard of any broken Crower H22A cams yet. I assume you are refering to the B series cam failures...

with the stage 2 you dont need the valvetrain kit if you don't exceed stock rev limit right?? also there are two stage 2's on the crower site, anyone know the diff?
