Converting a H22a dizzy to external?

Is there a link on here on how to do it? Are the coils the same? I bought a USDM one and realized the harness on my H22a is short one wire. Should I just convert it to an internal one? (Found links for that.) What should I do?
The only difference in the 2 coils is the price and availability.
USDM distributor set-ups cost more money because they are 2 parts. Dizzy and coil. Dizzy cost about 200 new, and coil is about 150 new, depending on where you go. And they are available anywhere in the USA.
JDM dizzies, you can pretty much only get online. Unless you go to a speed shop and let them over charge you. Ebay, is one place, and forums is another place to get these at. JDM coils are 1 piece set-ups.
I have had my internal coil fried - it seems much easier to replace if it was external also I am planning to upgrade to an msd ignition so I would like to know as well
I converted my h23 external coil to the jdm internal. But I did it only because I didnt have the mounting plate for the coil so it was just bouncing around scratching my intake. I've heard the external setup is pretty much bullet proof when compared to an internal coil.
I'm broke so I may be willing to sell the external setup if the price is right.

Incorrect. The JDM dizzies suffer from over heating in the ignition coil and can burn out faster. USDM dizzies have their coils on the outside, away from the heat source.

Anyone got a link on wiring up the internal to external? I keep finding links on converting external to internal. Which isn't what I need. My H22a's dizzy harness is short one wire. My question is what do I do about the missing green wire?

I'm thinking I'll just convert the external to internal. (Since I can't find any info...)
Would a 97 Civic coil work? Or do I need an OBD1 coil from an Accord/Civic?

I know that the coil from the b18 motors is the exact same, thats what i used when mine went. just go and tell them that u need one for an integra gsr... that should not have n e problems

I bought a new one for a 95 Civic. It looks identical to the one I pulled out of the H22A's dizzy. So I guess I just need to wire it up. Would've been nice to find a way to have it external, but I lack the time to wait until someone posts something.
