Default Cold start

The winter has officially arrived and everyday my car works harder ad harder to start so is there anyway to improve the cold start on my h22a1????

I think they sell them dip sticks that help keep the motor oil warm. What oil do you use? If you use 5W30 you might as well switch over to 0w 30.

Not sure on what your motor consists of. (turbo or whatnot) But I had a turbo car up north in New Hampshire, and I had to go one step warmer plug in the winter time or my car wouldn't start, or would at least take forever.

You can buy a big magnetic thing that hooks to your oil pan and heats it also. From Iowa, they have all the shiite here.

0w-30 oil compared to a 5w-30 conventional is nothing to brag about. You sacrifice a little engine wear for a little bit of fuel economy with the 0w-30. This was based upon Mobil 1 AFE 0w-30 and Pennzoil's new style 5w-30 conventional. Probably the best performers out there right now.

no turbo or anything its a bone stock h22a1 with about 30xxx on it...i run royal purplr 5w-30 full synthetic and i was thinkn i should maybe upgrade my plugs and wires and that would help. and heard about "pan warmers" if you will buut i live in st louis. ive never seen them.
