I just did my swap a couple days ago and wasn't having any codes until just this morning. On the way to work I threw a code 12 and 41. The O2 sensor is going to be easy(its one of those cheapo BOSCH universals) GARBAGE!!! Anyways, the other code was code 12(EGR Lift Sensor) Does anyone know where this is located? Anyone else have this problem? I am also getting a pulsing throughout the powerband. I will hit Vtec and it will pull but hesitate and then pull hard and then hesitate. This intermitant to. Any clue? Could this be the 02 sensor? Thanks!

Anyone awake yet?

 

the egr is on hte intake manifold. on hte passenger side of the car right next to the thermostat housing.

There is 2 nuts that hold it in. Pull those nuts and clean out the inside of the valve with some carb cleaner. Also follow all the vaccum lines and look for leaks!

 

Alright thanks! Also what about the intermitting problem, could that be from the EGR?

sounds like it might not be grounded good enough? thats what my h22 was doing. I ran seafoam through it and it doesnt do it anymore but i will still make my own grounding kit.
