Default CLR + Cat?

I've been looking into ways of unclogging my cat and i've been told letting it soak in CLR will clean it out a bit. However it was done to a Pathfinder i think that was OBDII and the o2 sensor was post cat and it was fine. Just wondering if any one would know if i soak my 4th gen's cat will it screw with my o2 and throw codes? I dont think it will but its always a good idea to get some extra opinions before experimenting...

92-95 only have a sensor precat, so it won't throw a code unless your cat's fully clogged
