Default Climate control lights

1992 SR prelude

I noticed my climate control lights only work when it's cold out (winter cold, not California cold.) All the lights for the buttons on it work in any temperature.

Just wondering what causes this? Thanks

The infamous Honda cold solders, they break apart when hot, but work when cold. You can either pull the circuit board and re-solder it all, or replace it with another unit.

There used to be a guy on ebay who'd do it for 20 bucks.

/pounds on dash

I'm gonna go see if he's still around.
