If the check engine light is on does that make the car go slower or not? Because my light is on and it feels like the car isnt as fast as it was before.

 

Nop, it'll make your car go faster, infact all of a sudden between the shifts you will hear a blow off valve.


Not but in reality it depends on what the sensor is trying to tell you, or if it put you into the limp mod or not.

 

basicaly safe mode...and its gonna kill your gas milage too
