Default another camber question!

Okay first let me apologize in advance for asking this question! I have been searching old topics for hours and read up on a lot I did not know, but here is the question, I am about to put some coilovers on my 98 lude and I am confused on what kind of camber kit to get, I am going to set the height just above tire possibly have the tire just inside the fender, I have read about the ball joints style and the anchor bolt style, which is better for clearance and which is more recommended, I just do not want to hear something hitting the fender everytime I hit a bump, and I figure I will put a kit on front and back. I am new at this whole camber kit thing and I just need some help! any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

anything that adjusuts the camber by moving hte balljoint out can cause clearance issues. the anchor bolts move the whole upper control arm out and the adjustable ball joint moves jsut the tip of the control arm out. if yo uarelooking to go that low with the same diameter wheels/tires as stock then get used to negative camber, control arm whacking or you can dent/cut to clearance.

I have got 18's on my car with 215/35 tires, why can't i Just put some washers or shims behind where the control arm mounts to straighten the wheel back up?

because it wont affect the camber doing that to the upper or lower control arms, the lower is horizontally mounted with a pivoting point on the subframe so that wont do anything to the camber either
