alternator not responding
theres no power coming in my alternator, i was driving to the supermarket and when i got back to my car i noticed my battery and brake light was on. after few hours of driving my car died and i realized the alternator wasnt charging my battery. at first i thought the alternator went out so i brought another alternator and still didnt work. brought the car to the shop and they put on another alternator still didnt work. and today he told me that they cant figure out whats wrong and theres no power coming in the alternator. checked all the fuse and my ecu fuse was fried. replaced another one and as i turn my key to start it went out again. any idea whats wrong? i remember i hit the bottom of my car at the supermarket. could it be the o2 senor wire causing this? please help i need my car to take me to school and work
It's got to be simple problem, you need to find a better shop.
The shop should have access for Alldata or Mitchel on Demand, which will have wiring diagrams. With the battery hooked up, you need 12V at the alternator power wire. Then, you should also have 12V at the alternator field wire. If all those are there, then your charging system will work.

Thus, it certainly is possible that a frayed/torn oxygen sensor harness could be causing a short circuit that is blowing your fuse and disabling the alternator circuit. Again, I don't know if the Prelude is wired up in this manner, but it's worth looking into.
