Default Acceleration Question

My 1999 prelude is shakey when accelerating all the way up until 4th gear. It's not quite smooth. I replaced the plugs and wires with factory ones about a week ago and also have a facotry fuel filter that still needs to be replaced. Could this be the cause? Or is there something else causing a shakey acceleration?

thanks

bad axles, bad balljoints, bad tierod ends, bad alignment, bad wheel bearings, bad tires, bent rims, low tire pressure, bad struts, bad bushings, and anything engine related
