ABS Code 1 - The fix with pics

First, I was at three different Honda workshops to fix the problem with the glaring ABS light on my del Sol.
All of them were clueless. one of them suggested replacing the ABS pump. List price: $2000. I said no thanks.
Then I found this
The gold ring is a SOAB to remove, even worse than getting the whole unit outta the car, I had to knock down the black flange all the way around the ring with hammer and a screwdriver before it came lose.
Now trying to bleed the high pressure circuit. The air in the system is now causing me some concern, its like a shaken coke..
I hope it will work when I have put back the unit in the car… or ELSE.

Be sure to purge all air from the ABS unit Before reinstalling. The pump should go slower and slower and NOT be able to spool up again. If so there is still air in the system.
