This is a super specific problem, and I have trouble explaining it, but when I open my door (sometimes) everything (gauge cluster, radio, clock, even the headlights) blinks and clicks for around 15 seconds, and then it stops, and then it continues for another 15 or so seconds and then it stops until you turn it off and then back on, where it continues. But here's the weird thing: it doesn't inhibit anything, the OEM radio console works, the clock still tells time, the gauges all work, etc. it's just extremely annoying, and it only does this a little more than what would be considered occasional. Any ideas on what this might be?

 

Most likely a wire short in the door harness. First guess for something that extreme would be the main power wire for the driver's multiplex unit and a ground wire.
