96 Prelude S H22a1 swap
Here to clear up any details I might've missed, been talking to guy about buying his h22a1 swap, comes with harness, chipped p28 with an h22 basemap, all mounts on the engine, and axles. Im going from an f22a1 to h22a1, anything I missed? Oh I have an obd2 to obd1 jumper as well. From my current information, the only mounts that differ are the ones from the intake side to the firewall, looking to gain some horsepower with a headache free swap. Anything helps!

The exhaust is different between those engines, so you need the right exhaust manifold/ header setup for the H22. The axles and transmission should be identical, aside from possibly different gearing, or an LSD.
Back after all this time because I have gotten a swap and gotten it in but now I’m at the part where you use your brain.
Im swapping an h22a1 from a 93 prelude bb1 into a 96 prelude s ba8, currently everything on the new motor is from the bb1, the route I’m running is going from the obd1 engine harness through the obd2 body harness (I have one plug that is different, 4 wires engine harness side, 7 wires body harness side, 8 pin connector) through a jumper harness and into the obd1 ecu from the bb1. At this point all I believe I have left to do is some wiring, and something about the intake/MAP sensor since they seem to be different. What I’m wondering is would I be able to put the F manifold on and save some work, and what I need to do about the plug difference and extra wires that might come from dealing with it
