Default 92 Lude HELP!!!

Ok, I found out today that my car has a 96 honda accord JDM H22a in it. With a modded chipped P28 obd 2 ecu. The Guy said that i still have my secondaries because the p28 has built in vtec controls. I am having an idle issue read my other posts. He said i can fix it by getting a stand alone vtec controller. Any idea what that would do to fix my idle issue? Or if it would at all.

I cannot imagine how a VTEC controller would affect your idle. Search for the official idle problem thread (might be in the Prelude FAQs still) and that should show you what to do

The majority of H22 swaps have the vacuum lines done all wrong, especially on the driver's side lines coming off of the EGR valve. Pull up a vacuum diagram or PM me on Monday and I can send you one. Do you have a P13 on hand by chance? If you do, toss it in and drive around for half an hour on the freeway; if you throw EGR codes, then there's your problem. P28 doesn't have EGR on it, so you'll never know.

Aside from vacuum lines, it could also be a leaking intake manifold gasket, problem with your cooling system like air bubbles, a dirty IACV, leaking map sensor, or various other problems. Start out by checking vacuum routing and leaks first though.
