Default 4th Gen Dashes

I was wondering if there are any differences in the dashes for S/SI/V-TECH. Such as gauges, speakers, differences in locations... so on. Any commentary would be very helpful!

92-93: The Prelude S has a redline of 6250rpm. The Si has 6500rpm redline Si VTEC has a 7400rpm

94-96: The Prelude S did not get a EL guage...like the Si and Si VTEC got. It had the same guage as the 92-93 Preludes
The difference between the Si and Si VTEC is the redlines again.

Everything else should be the same.

I know there is some differences....

I have 95 VTEC and it has LCD display for the temp and the gas...
I know another guy that has like a 92 non-vtec and he told me he doesn't have LCD..

About speakers I got no idea.... but I have 2 tweeters on the front, 2 speakers in doors, and 2 on the back...

Hope that was of some help

The 92-96 VTECs also have a factory 6x9 subwoofer located in between the two rear seats.

ALL 4th gens had the exact same clock/temp/gas gauges. It was probably just a missunderstanding.

And the S and Si clusters have the same redline, regardless if they're the EL gauges or not.

Speakers didn't change but the trimming did. The tweeter covers are different, the upholstry pattern in both leather and cloth differed. The plastic material they used for the door control panels and the ac/heater vents changed from smooth (92-93) to a heavy texture in 94+.

Almost everything stayed the same location wise from 92-96 except a few things. The 92-93 had an interior 3rd brake light where the 94-96 had an exterior LED 3rd brake light in the spoiler. The mirror controls moved from the door (92-93) to the center console (94-96) along with the fog light switch from the tweeter to the center console (94-96). The console itself changed too, in 92 they were all a long single piece console that went all the way back to the rear seats with the e-brake in the center of the console and no damn cupholder. In 93 they had both that style and a short style that went only to the back of the front seats, then a 'seat divider' was put into the space between the rear seats. Then in 94-96 they all had the same console which had an offset e brake, and were short like the optional 93 console and came with an armrest AND CUPHOLDER.. that's a big deal for us.

I could go on and list every little change and discrepency for the years and or models but that would take far too long, so I'll stop here.

The 4th gen VTECs came with a factory 6x9 subwoofer in between the two rear seats. The non-VTECs have a plastic cover there in its place.
