Default 2.2 bolt on

i seen this in a magazine for the 1.8 integra engines. it said it was a bolt on thing to turn the engine into a 2.2. the thing is i cant find it anywhere. anyone know what im talking about?

I think he is talking about a Stroker Kit. turning a B16/B18 into a B20.

He's either talking about a deckplate or a stroker kit. Neither of those is a bolt-on.

i accidentally posted this in the prelude section, but its for my integra. i seen the thing in a magazine of which said the kit was a bolt on. i havent found it, which is why i was asking..

The term "bolt-on" can be pretty loosely defined at times, but I wouldn't count crank & rod replacement as one of them. And certainly not boring, which would probably be necessary to bring a B18 up to 2.2 liters.

there is two ways of doing it.

1 is just a stroker kit. way longer stroke crank, shorter rods=larger displacement, shitty r/s ratio.


2.deck plate: it sits on top of your block, and makes the cyliner walls longer. then a custom stroker kit is put in there.=larger displacement, possibly the same or better r/s ratio, depending on how much you stroke.
