~~HELP~~ Idle Problem with 86 Lude
Yea... ive been having a problem with my 86 Prelude.... it doesnt seem to want to idle under 2500 RPMs ive checked all the hoses, (all good as i can see) Oxygen sensor, Timing Belt and a few other stuff. If anyone has ANY idea i am willing to try it
Check to make sure your accelerator cable is not busted where it comes out of the firewall, mine was and it wouldn't let it idle, it would choke itself to death at about 150 rpm, not good.
Sounds like you have a vacuum leak of some sort, or a brake problem. does this only happen when you are on the brakes, or is it all the time? Also make sure all hoses and tubing is plugged in where it is supposed to be, they are there for a reason.
