weaksauce. Every man and his dog knows that the real money is the RG. The RD and the aluminium RZ were poo. They make about 90HP, very tractable power er read dull. The reality is that old bikes were crud, were better off right now. An RS250 would eat on older 500.

Give me a tuned RG500 with no powervalves and cut slicks.

Infact here's something mush more entertaining

I saw an RG500 powered KR1 back in the day, it was a right mental case. I also am lucky enough to have ridden a couple of RG's. The noise at 8K is awesome. But then nothing compares to a TZ. I like the look of the NC, bet it doesn't cut it on the track, not many specials do shame to day.
