Default Off the saddle...

...sorta

Got a deposit on the Duc and taking her down to Georgia to deliver her to the new owner on Friday . However, I picked up an '08 Ruckus a few days ago...absolute BLAST. This is probably BS but the salesman said they were sold out in 27 states

http://www.battlescooter.com is about to get a lot of business First few things include a cone filter, exhaust, jet kit, and underseat box

$2,600 OTD.

It'll go 45, with a few mods it'll go 55 at least

Nice pickup. They're not cheap, but they're beefy for being a scoot and lots of mod potential. And so you know, I head the same thing about them being sold out in a number of states. Glad you got back on a Honda

Yep, was looking into Zumas as well...but wanted to avoid the 2-stroke...plus the Ruckus is just so bad-*** looking!

Feels good to be riding Red again

they must have done a little work to them since they came out. My buddie got one when they first came out and you could maybe get them going 35 going down a hill. If they cap. of 45 now i wouldnt mind having one. them are bad we used to rock that thing all ova town

Most people that get them are in college and with most campuses allowing scooters to park next to bike racks you can literally drive them up to the door. If you live decently close to your work then it would be great for that as well. Outside of that there really is no need for one. I personally would love one but I am not about to drop 2200 on a scooter. I'll wait 5 years for the cost of oil to plummet and then people will basically be giving these things away.

Because people are stupid and dont think anything whole way through. $2600 buys ALOT of gas, even at $4/gallon.

Totally have that in mind.

Ordered an exhaust and filter yesterday

My main reason for getting this isn't the gas milage, it's a plus, though.

I've never really understood the interest in these myself. Seems like you're essentially eliminating one of the main advantages of owning a scooter, storage space, primarily for looks. Form over function isn't my thing.

However, if you enjoy it, more power to ya. They do look masculine, relatively speaking of course

DAMN...... I bought one for my wife back in April. We only paid $2200 OTD.

I can say it is a blast to drive though.

My wife drives it to work every day
