yeah, thats what i've been hearing too....

i think it was in regards to comfortablity right? but i recently read this research that said basically all these new 600 cc bikes that are coming out have just only hairs of difference.

well if you want to get technical, you really need to specify which cbr600 you're talking about (f2, f3, f4, f4i, 600rr).

but yeah, most bikes arent too different nowadays.

Congrats!! Buy my bike! Hahaha

The R6 makes a better track bike, but the CBR600 (F2/3/4/4i) are just as capable in the right hands, and ergonomically more comfortable.

My first bike was an f4i and yes it was more comfortable but sport bikes are not designed to be comfortable per say. Both will be pretty uncomfortable to ride for long periods of time.. I would just go sit on different bikes at your local shop and decide from that.. personally I prefer the R6 though.. then again I'm bias too

Agreed. Plus they say CBRs are a lot more forgiving and easier to ride.

I've ridden a new CBR600RR and an R6...I would take the R6 anyday, it just felt like a much more comfortable bike, and it felt so light underneath you...

I heard the RR's rip ********..

So...I'm guessing the R6 wins out for the most of you riders, i'm probably gonna get a **** bike to get my skill level up before i even try to attempt an R6 or a cbr. Thanks for all the posts guys. I'll be joining you guys in this forum soon.
