hey everyone the other day i ran my bike to redline and the spark plug 1 of 4 popped out of its socket and now the bike spuutters like crazy and back fires and the forth pluyg wont stay down how can i fix this!!! help!~

did the ceramic break or did the threads strip out?

if the threads are gone, then i'd take it to a shop you'll have to rethread the head for a sligthly larger plug, and i'd recommend pulling the head to do this. so you dont drop metal shavings into the combustion chamber.

 

Yea you can heli-coil it. You drill it out and basically insert new threads. BUT you should take the head off.

 

o yeah i forgot about heli-coils!

 

I am concerned as well... for the bike. What did it do in its past life to deserve that?
