they can be found online for $3xx. Take your time and search. I don't know off the top of my head or I'd obviously link you. Someone mentioned it in the helmet thread. PM buji. He said he found it on eBay. Quantums should be on closeout as well

i have an edwards replica (red, white, black) if your interested i paid like 516 shipped..

I love the helmet, excellent air circulation that you can actually feel. But yes it does whistle cause of all of the vents. I've never ridden with the vents closed so i don't know if it whistles then.

i'm happy with the helmet but don't know if i would buy it again cause it was my first helmet and i don't have anything to compare it to. i just know arai has some pretty high standards and are very good helmets.

actually i can compare it to the shoei rf900. i tried both on at a shop and the shoei was noticeably heavier, the arai also fits better for MY head. arai makes so many different shaped helmets that they have everyone covered. being asian i have kind of an oval shaped head and the quantum just fits better.

just go to a shop and try them on and decide which one you like best.

i have tried them on, and decided a quantum is the way to go, felt far better than the rx7 or any shoei helmet i tried. anyway shitty thing for me is that the only graphics i halfway like on quantums is the haga replica - yellow, which they stopped producing in 02 so its gonne be kinda hard to find one i was hoping somebody might have some overstock for a decent price.

The quantum ownz, I got the Re-Entry version.

Quieter than most, but I still wear ear plugs when I ride for long distances

If you're looking for a "plugless" helmet just stop. Unless you want zero ventilation you're going to get wind noise. Everybody I know plugs

I just had the professionally formed ear-plugs done at the recent motorcycle show for $40.00.

Normal pricing from an audiologist would cost at least $300.00.

You should check these things out, Tony.

I had a set made at VIR. I lost em... I'm pretty sure someone yoinked them. Why I can't imagine. Oh well. Someone wanted me to try the sonic filtering plugs. Those are supposed to let like voices in but block out exhaust and such. Oh well, I have like 500 of the foam ones and they work well enough. They also plug all kinds of leaks and level tables.
