4P connector problem, can't remove terminal for test
I'm troubleshooting a broken blower for the AC and one of the steps involves removing one of the wires from the 4P connector. "Carefully release the lock tab on the #1 terminal of the 4P connector and remove the wire..." is what the manual says to do.
I'm having no luck determining where this lock tab is. I've pushed and pulled on the wire & terminal, and its not budging. I hope someone can clue me in.
I have a 2002 CRV, although I can't imagine that these pins are unique to this vehicle
thanks,

The locking tab is on the female side of the plug. You need to release the tab then pull the wire. Common problem on those is the blower transistor. If it has no blower, compressor ofrfan operation,it would be safe to bet the transistor has takin a dump. Bypass it and the blower should run.
Are you using a precision screwdriver set? It's pretty easy if you have the right little screwdriver.
Thanks for the tips. I'll try the precision screwdriver. I have bypassed the transistor and it does run during troubleshooting. I hope you are right about the transistor. That'd be pretty easy to fix.
