Hello all, I am a new member here specifically joined up to get as much help as possible with my transmission swap.
I am the owner of a 2001 Honda Odyssey and my second AT just took a dump.
I refuse to invest any time, money, and energy into replacing/rebuilding the stock AT.
So with that being said I found an 08 Acura TL-S 6MT locally for 600 bucks that I will be swapping in. I need some help from knowledgeable members who have done this conversion.
I live in Ca so in the future I will be also swapping in the j32a2 from a donor car (with all necessary parts to make this swap pass state ref inspection).
I need help figuring out what axles will work if any or if I need to have custom ones made?
I think everything else should be easy for me.
Can anybody help or point me in the right direction?
I will also have a detailed write up for any future members who are interested in this transformation as well.

 

I figured I would try using my stock axles mated with the TL inners and go from there.
I'll also be using a DC clutch pedal with master cylinder and remote reservoir assembly.
Maybe a Hybrid Racing shifter box with RSX shift linkages.
That's pretty much the gist of it. The rest is pretty much wiring.
