LED Headlight Bulbs
I want to upgrade the headlight bulbs from halogen to LED in our 2012 Honda Fit. The plan is that I purchase the bulbs, then have them installed at a local Honda repair shop.
I want the new bulbs to function as our standard low and high-beam headlights (not fog lights), but I'm confused about what to buy. The options on Amazon seem to emphasize fog lights, have a lot of different types of connections, have fan and fanless varieties, and a bunch of other confusing nomenclature. Can anyone advise what to buy?

Sylvania has a bulb replacement guide. It says your headlights are 9003.

I have personally spent too much on random LED bulbs until I found out the AHC Garage guys use Sealight. I have these on all of my cars with no issues.
I would suggest that you try to replace these yourself instead of paying for labor. It doesn't look hard.
Good luck!

I was originally going to get LED bulbs for my 2020 Fit Sport, but there has been some discussion about them not working when daytime running lights are part of the low beam. They either don't light up or throw a code. I ended up getting Phillips CrystalVision platinum 9003cvps2 bulbs. They are not LED but the beam is almost pure white which is what I wanted. Color temp is 4000. So far I am really liking them and the are a good price on Amazon - $37.99.

I did find LED Projector upgrades specifically for Honda Fit models, and reportedly support DRL. My son had them on his 2013 2ND GEN Sport and he loves them. I plan to get a set for my 3RD GEN Sport in the near future. Pricier than most but specific to the GEN you have.

Aside from the issue of blinding oncoming cars (Sorry to lie down in front of your parade, guys.
), should there be a concern regarding how much demand the more powerful bulbs place on the battery and charging system?
@gtr75 I appreciate that second video. Thanks.
