Yup, I still have my crx after 29 years
I can’t recall the last time I threw up a thread, but probably been 15 years. I still have the car that brought a lot of the Honda passion over the years. I have the restoration finished last year, replacing many old parts with new oem, or aftermarket things I’ve collected over the years. A 2000 model year type R B18C was swapped in a while back, and completely refreshed last year with new bearings, gaskets, seals, and upgraded internals. I took a b series Kraftwerks supercharger kit, and had things under the hood, fabricated to fit and clear. It makes a good amount of power now, running off.an S300 equipped P30 ecu which I also had freshened up with some new internals and wiring added to run a coil on plug ignition.
These days, I’ve just been enjoying the car for what it is, but recently parked it for the winter season, my 1989 crx. My pictures are too large, I will resize and add them later today

My wife's CRX II 1.6 16V is now 37 years old (1988 model purchased in 1988) and is still in near original (delivery) state/condition. The only things not original are the clutch plates, brake pads and tyres.
The only complaint I have about the CRX is with Honda themselves. When asked for a list of UK ULEZ compliant cars they did not include the CRX. This means that we cannot keep the CRX at home (Inner London which is within the zone) so it stays with my sister who lives outside London. I have copies of every MOT Emission Test the car has had done and ALL of them shows that its emissions are well within the acceptable limits.
But that will all change 4 years from now in 2029. The it becomes a CLASSIC CAR. NO MOT, NO ROAD TAX. NO ULEZ. It also is eligible for Classic Car Insurance (about half what it costs at the moment).
When we purchased the CRX I had the Integra EX16 which had the same engine. Both beautiful cars that could out-drag anything in the same class. I've lost count the number of times my wife left a boy-racer's pride-and-joy (Volkswagen Golf GT-i) standing at the traffic lights. The look of surprise on their faces was enjoyable.

Deetz, I love hearing OG's like yourself still have their car after all these years. After the forums died I have always wondered what happened to so many of the builds I looked up to over the years!
My 89 Si (ED9) hasn’t been on the road since the fall of 2007. I built and sold an engine for the car but I am now in the process of building a k24a8 with a k23a1 head. I want this car back on the road this spring/summer. My kids are old enough that they don’t need me hovering or catering to them so I’ve found that I have a little more free time lately. New career is also helping to be able to afford to get this car back up and running.
